Our organization uses African family-based cultural strategies to provide the best advocacy for all individuals, with disabilities whether they be cognitive or developmental, or neurotypical individuals, and create a safe environment in peoples home and in the community where people, young and old, can have honest equal say in the group they are a part of and the services being provided. We are brothers, sisters, cousins, and nephews.

Citizen Advocacy pairs community volunteers with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, creating genuine one-to-one relationships that last a lifetime.

We connect people to local organizations, volunteer opportunities, and community-led efforts through storytelling, collaboration, and accessible tools. Our mission is to make it easier for passionate individuals to find, support, and grow the work that’s transforming Atlanta from the ground up.
